The Z840 Is The prettiest and sounds great.. the other two came yesterday they are pretty but the sound does not seem to be as full. but very nice .they have a new guitar sound. I love Zaar guitars !!! What do you consider The best sounding guitar Zaar has ?
I love the speaker on this thing, as I can get reverb and delay straight out of the guitar itself without having to plug it in. Pickup sounds nice and bright through my rig.
I love this thing. First guitar I've ever had with semi hemisphereacle fret ends, and they look great and feel nice. I have guitars twice this price that don't have frets this nice. Stock pickups are pretty good, but I ended up swapping them out for Zaar's Route 66 set. Came setup well, but I lowered the action a bit and it plays even more buttery than before.
These are a bit lower output than your normal pickup, even when compared to PAF vintage pickups, but when I dialed up the gain, sounds as heavy as any other pickup I've played, but with more clarity!
Very pleased with the quality and the sound! Everything about it is perfect.
Somewhere along the way, I accidentally became a Zaar guitar collector. It started innocently enough… and now I own four of their acoustics: the Z540E Walnut, Z420SE Rosewood, Z690SE Koa, and the ZC375E Spruce/Walnut Satin. Each one has its own personality, which is a polite way of saying I have justified keeping all of them.
For context, this is not a “I’ve only ever owned one guitar type” situation. There’s also a Fender Strat, a Gibson SG, a Gibson Les Paul, and a Conrad violin-body guitar floating around here (because apparently I collect shapes now).
And yet… the Cicero has somehow become my favorite all-around electric.
It’s got this small body that actually fits in human hands (a bold design choice), a fretboard that feels suspiciously like silk, and it’s just ridiculously fun to play. Worst of all, it’s affordable, which means I can’t even pretend my love for it is about prestige.
In short: I own objectively fancier guitars… and still keep reaching for this one. Which is either a glowing endorsement or proof that guitars, like people, are mostly about vibes. Great work, Zaar!
Very happy with my purchase have not had time to play with it much but after receiving it and plugging it in and it is going to be a joy and I also have an acoustic ZAAR of which I absolutely love
I own three high end acoustics (I won't mention the brand), but lately, have been dreaming of a guitar with perfect playability and tone. Found it! My new Z540E has the best of both worlds. A big shout out to Craig and the team at Zaar guitars! Thanks so much!

I read the reviews and they were in sync with the outcome of my purchase Zaar is the real deal. Shipment was fast and no damage to the guitar. Its as pretty as the advertisement. Good sound and i really like the tapor on the body.
This is a dream guitar! The Santos Rosewood - " Pau Ferro" is a beautiful sustainable wood. It has been used in musical instruments for a long time, but ZAAR has taken the lead using this wood like a custom luthier would. I am very pleased to own a guitar of such beauty and sound and not deforesting the planet! The inlays are perfect and the tone is bold, bright but very rounded in the mid to low ranges. The attention to details is like no other guitar I have played. The output is fantastic. It plays great and I am enjoying the clean fingering this board creates. This will be my front guitar and I look forward to sharing it with my audience. A guitar is more than a wooden box with silver wires and people enjoy it when a guitar has a story to tell. The Z420SE is the "Art of Guitar Making." ZAAR really understands this guitar as they put a beautiful gloss finish which brings out the tone like a hardwood wants. I would recommend getting the G6 pickup. It's not only has an equalizer, but chorus and reverb too. What a bonus! ZAAR proved to me you can own a superior musical instrument and not have to pay a fortune. Finally, I want everyone to know ZAAR is completely transparent about their guitars. All you have to do is ask. Their pricing structure is clear on the website. If you want a laminated guitar you pay less and if you want a solid guitar you pay more. Simple! It's our choice! I chose the solid wood, yes!!!
Looks just like the real thing, so whether I’m playing my 420se or another in my collection, there’s always a reminder of the Zaar quality.

My introduction to Zaar was the Sketch series and I instantly fell in love. After receiving my new Z540 Elite series, I'm thinking we might be looking at a marriage proposal! This guitar is gorgeous and it plays easily and sounds rich and buttery right out of the nice case that it came in. I'm a Zaar fan and maybe family depending on how this whole proposal thing goes (fingers crossed!)
I saw an advertisement for Zaar Guitars in April on Facebook. Because I never heard of Zaar Guitars before, I was a little hesitant to order. Something kept drawing back to the ad so I placed an order for a Z840se. The guitar came today. When I opened the box I was impressed with the hard case. When I opened the case I was surprised at the beauty, craftsmanship and tone of the Z840se.
I have four other guitars and plan you buy one more. That guitar will definitely be a Zaar. This is an outstanding company with great customer service. Craig, thanks for all your help.
